Visiting the Spice House

Our remote reporters Issac and Ethan Moldofsky were given the grand tour of The Spice House by owners Tom and Patty Erd. A trip to the Spice House is a real treat for all the senses but especially for the nose. Every spice is at it's peak and just bursting with aroma and flavor.

Tom and Patty are second generation spice merchants. Their business was founded by Patty's parents, Ruth and Bill Penzey, Sr. in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1957.

Patty grew up working in the shop. As a child, she thought it was a pretty torturous way to earn an allowance!
